3X04When a serial killer is stalking and killing fortune tellers in Minneapolis, Mulder and Scully must come in to investigate.

An insurance salesman named Clyde Bruckman who found one of the bodies seems their only hope, he reveals that he has the ability to foresee how people are going to die. When he leads them to two additional bodies, Scully is sure that Bruckman is the real killer. Mulder however has other theories and believes that the salesman can lead them to the killer. The only problem being that Clyde has already told Mulder how he is going to die...

A really fantastic episode that is humourous but in a more subtle way. This is a really strong Darin Morgan script, the dialogue is superb and Peter Boyle is just suited for the role of Clyde Bruckman. The acting is a real credit to this episode and both Gillian and David put in dry performances which compliments the humour. The pace never lets up and it's enjoyable all the way. Well done Darin!!
Nitpicking
It would be great if this episode was problem free but there is a slight problem. Bruckman, before going to sleep, tells Mulder about the nightmare he has every night where he lies in a field naked. When we see the dream he has, he is wearing his pyjamas although I don't think TV officials would like it that much if the dream was re-enacted perfectly!
