3X16When Skinner is shot in what appears to be a random shooting, Scully tries to find his killer and learns that it is in fact Luis Cardinal, the same man who was working with Krycek and who shot Scully's sister, Melissa.

Meanwhile, Mulder travels with the alien-possessed Krycek back to the US to retrieve the digital tape but are run off the road by government agents. Krycek kills the agents with a radiation that emits from his body, gets the DAT tape without Mulder and strikes a deal with the Cigarette-Smoking Man, to tell him where his UFO is. The agents learn that Krycek has gone to North Dakota to an abandoned missile silo where they pursue him but are taken away by some of the CSM's soldiers. As they are being transported away, the alien form seeps out of Krycek's mouth and eyes returning to it's ship leaving Krycek trapped in the silo screaming. No one can hear him....

Probably the best second part to a two-parter so far. It features nearly all of the recurring guest stars, a great storyline, some really good performances and some good plot threads that can continue in future mythology episodes. The action never lets up and unlike the previous part, it is never boring. Absolutely top class!
Nitpicking
When Scully tells the DC cops about Skinner's shooter, she says that his blood type is B+ but they already know that from the waitresses description. How exactly does a waitress determine the shooter's blood type just by looking at him?
