Absolutely terrible. The characters are unlikable, the effects are stupid and the whole thing is just plain boring. John Shiban really shouldn't be able to write X-Files episodes because they just give the show a bad name. The ending is so amazingly bad and unbelievable that I'm surprised Chris Carter let this go on air. Well, I could go on and on with bad points but I won't. The worst episode in the history of the show.
Nitpicking
Why exactly does the shaman murder Mona and Dr. Bilac when both of them were sympathetic to the idea of returning the remains to their rightful place? Also, on several occasions, the agents enter buildings and leave the lights out for no reason. They didn't even use their famous flashlights.
