3X19Mulder and Scully are called in to investigate a grotesque situation where a Chinese immigrant was burned alive in a crematorium and another man was found dead with a frog living inside his body.

Mulder suspects that a Chinese spirit might be angry but in fact, it turns out to be a lottery where poor participants wager parts of their body in return for the big jackpot. If they win they can be happy forever, if they lose then they could end up dead. The only problem is, there may not be a way to win and the agents must try to stop it before one man loses his life by trying to save his dying daughter.

Rating: 2 out of 10
Again, not a good episode at all. As before, there's nothing to like about the characters and it's just not enjoyable to watch. This is not what The X-Files should be like. At times, there is gore when there really doesn't need to be. Mulder and Scully are the only reason why I didn't award this a lower mark. It's a good job this is followed by a fantastic episode.
Nitpicking
There was a problem with the subtitling in this episode. In some parts, we get treated to subtitles so we can understand what the Chinese people are saying. In other, more important parts, there are no subtitles to be seen and we are wondering what the hell they are talking about!
